Help with reading comprehension...
When coming across new words in a reading selection, use context clues (clues within the sentence itself) to determine what the word's meaning is. Don't just give up, or skip the word. Reread the sentence and ask how it fits into the meaning of the sentence.
Reminders
-Students should be reading their books they chose for the Quarter II project.
-Students are expected to come to class prepared EVERY day. Be sure to have the following supplies:
1 inch binder with pockets, pens (blue and black), 1 red marking pen/pencil, #2 pencils, 1 college ruled spiral notebook (70 pages), 3 tab dividers, 1 package of index cards
